Calily Life Organic Pet Shampoo + Conditioner

My Confession:
Most of you know by now that I am pretty much in love with the Calily products. Did you know they make PET products too? They do =). My first confession, I used this for myself, NOT my pets. My second confession, I used this for my daughter too. The only bad thing I can say is that the consistency is very watery, HOWEVER, for the actual intended use ( for pets) it probably works well. So the daughter and I both have very dry scalps. I usually use a name brand expensive dandruff shampoo on us. This product actually worked much better. Its a two in one product so it's also a time saver for a busy mom. It has Oatmeal as one ingredient so it works well for fighting the eczema patches on my scalp. The shea butter and aloe gives the scalp and hair the much needed moisture that it craves. Our hair looks so much healthier and it has a shine to it.

How does it work for our pets? Well, we are not too sure. We wanna keep this for our self. Call us stingy but we really like the way it works for us.

Calily Life Organic Detoxifying Charcoal + Eucalyptus + Peppermint Face and Body Wash,

My Confession:

With all the sickness we have endured over the past two months, this body wash actually helps ALOT. It has Eucalyptus and Peppermint in it. Eucalyptus works as an expectorant and helps cleanse your body of toxins and harmful microorganisms that can make you feel sick. Inhaling peppermint can oftentimes immediately unclog your sinuses and offer relief to scratchy throats. Peppermint acts as an expectorant and may provide relief for colds, cough, sinusitis, asthma, and bronchitis. The charcoal is a great toxin removal. Now you see why I am in love with this product during all this sickness. It's opening us up in a hot steamy shower, and cleansing our bodies of the ickies. These ingredients also help with the sore muscles from the normal aches and pains of a sickness.

The body wash lathers really well. it doesn't leave a messy dark look to the shower with the charcoal. The smell is not super strong. You can definitely smell the Eucalyptus and Peppermint but it doesn't overpower your senses. The wash doesn't leave your skin super dry like some washes can. Once again I can NOT say enough about this brand. It's one of the best lines of organic products I have tried out yet.

Calily Life Coconut Oil Hair Mask

My Confession:

My daughter has curly frizzy hair. I'm always looking for ways to "tame the beast" so to speak. I cant tell you how much money we have spent on high dollar name brand hair care products. The majority of the products basically for lack of a better word, SUCKED. So yes we are always looking for new products to try. I have recently gotten to test a few different Calily products and they are AWESOME! They are all organice products. This particular product is made of high quality cold compressed coconut oil. I left it on for 10 minutes then rinsed. Her hair smelled AMAZING. It was so soft and smooth. Her curls were defined and not frizzy at all. I could actually manage to style her hair. She has complained of itchy scalp for quite some time now. She actually told me that her head didn't itchy so much after using this. It's safe to say that this product is 4 year old approved =).

Calily Life Coconut Milk Scrub

My Confession: 

This stuff smells AMAZING. I could eat it. I won't but it smells good enough to tempt it. With my facial eczema, I have to be careful with what products I use. The great thing about this product is its made with all natural organic ingredients. It exfoliates that dead dry top layer of skin to show soft new skin. It has coconut milk, almond oil, and grapeseed oil to help soothe and moisturize. This is a great combination. Remember though you have to shake it well before use to mix up all those oils. It helps fight anti-aging as well with all the other nutrients and vitamins that it's made up of. It's a salt scrub. It can be a bit harsh if you have any cuts or scrapes, however, the oils will also help to heal them. Calily Life products have not disappointed me. So far I have tried three of their all natural organic line products. All three amazed and surprised me. I feel just like I have been to a spa. Can't wait to try more of their products.

Calily Life Charcoal Body Scrub

My Confession:

This stuff is pretty amazing. I have always been skeptical about charcoal anything after a disastrous charcoal powder incident *shudders*. I have recently found a love of body scrubs. Sugar scrubs are my favorite compared to the salt scrubs, BUT, I am a "sweet" kinda gal. The salt scrubs kinda sting if there are any cuts on your body or hands. I was really surprised this salt scrub didn't give me that stinging feeling.  I don't really have many body imperfections that need "clarified". I mainly got this product for the exfoliation. I do have eczema though and thought this would be perfect for those spots. My first impression was dang it's a lot of oil. OK, so I'm gonna tell on myself a little.  SHAKE IT UP!  Rule number one when using most of these products ALWAYS shake it. So after shaking it up, the oil was evenly distributed and it wasn't quite as oily =) . The second thing I noticed was the grape smell. It was so sweet. It wasn't loud at all. While preparing to use this product I was mentally preparing myself for the charcoal mess that comes with a charcoal product. No mess, well, very little mess. Most of the color was washed away. However, it did leave an oily feel to my shower floor so definitely use caution and make sure to take fall precautions. I loved the exfoliation of this product. It wasn't super harsh and easily soaked into my skin. Again it is a bit more oily than I like so I rinsed off a little extra. Though oily, It left my skin feeling so soft, smooth, and silky. My hubby even complimented me on freshly shaved legs (confession: I didn't shave, SHH ). So yes this product is great to add to your beauty regimen. I will definitely keep it in mine to help that dry skin eczema issue. It also fights aging by reducing wrinkles and dark spots. It's all natural organic ingredients help to keep this product hypoallergenic. Even this most sensitive skin should be able to use without issues.

Calily Life Teeth Whitening System

I have somewhat nice teeth (or so I like to think). However, no matter how straight and nice they are, I'm still very conscious of the discoloration. I have always been a soda sipper, Cappucino gal, and tea drinker. To add to that, I was a smoker for many years (smoke free for 5 years now, YAY ME!). All of my favorite vices have taken their toll on my teeth. They are stained from all the dark liquids. I don't even like to give a toothy smile because I worry people will think I haven't brushed. I have tried many, MANY over the counter toothpaste and mouthwash's that promise whiter teeth. SURPRISE, none worked. I was actually surprised to get a chance to sample this product. It was something that I needed however due to trying so many things I was skeptical, to say the least. 

So I received this kit about a week ago. It has very easy instructions, so that part was a time saver. It tells you literally step by step what to do. It comes with all necessary equipment. Each item was clearly marked as to its purpose in the treatment. There is a little prep work before using the kit. Basically, you are just form fitting the mouth trays to your mouth. Be careful with this part, you can burn your gums. Check the heat of the mouthpiece before inserting into your mouth. after the prep work, the actual treatment part can be done for 30 minutes to an hour. I do it for 30 minutes. There is also a small light that you have to use with the treatment, it's also inserted into your mouth. The kit comes with some Vitamin E swabs that help with the irritation. I experienced some minor irritation but not much. The Vitamin E really helps, do NOT skip that step. The last step is the Remineralization Gel. This will help with all that sensitivity. It's not as time consuming as the other steps. 

So have I seen a difference? Not yet. I think it's too early to tell but will update when I finish my treatment. All in all, I have high hopes for this product and I feel like it will help me whiten my teeth, it's just not gonna happen over night.
