Wounded by Jasinda Wilder

** This is one of my OLDER reviews**

War has taken everything from me. My family. My home. My innocence. In a country blasted by war and wracked by economic hardship, a young orphan girl like me has very few options when it comes to survival. Thus, I do what I must to live, to eat, and I try very hard to not consider the cost to my soul. My heart is empty, and my existence brutal.

The one impossibility in my life is love.

And then I meet HIM.

War is hell. It takes a chunk out of a man's very soul to do the kinds of things war demands of you. You live with fear, you live with guilt, and you live with nightmares. If you haven't been through it, there's no understanding it. War leaves no room for love, no room for tenderness or softness. You gotta be hard, closed off, and ready to fight every moment of every day. Lose focus for a split second, and you're dead.

Now the only thing that can save me is HER

This book is unlike Jasinda’s other stories. This one is DARK , TWISTED, and VIOLENT… YET….BEAUTIFUL, SENSUAL, and INTENSE. I loved the way she gets so INSIDE the characters head. The way Jasinda lets the readers inside of Rania’s head lets them FEEL and UNDERSTAND more of who she is ? why she has done what she’s done? The way Jasinda tell’s Rania’s point of view it’s as if you ARE Rania. You feel her emotions. She does the same for Hunter. Hunter has had a troubled past and is just looking to move on with his life. He didn’t count on falling for one of the local girls. Jasinda does the same with Hunters point of view. She lets us in on EVERY aspect of his pain, emotional ties and the journey of trying to resist Rania. There story had me all over the place emotional wise. I felt sorrow, pain, love, angst, and romance. I was SURPRISED by reading this. I was not expecting to like it as well as I did. It started off slowly but after Rania and Hunter finally meet… held my attention through out to the end….GREAT JOB ON THIS JASINDA !

My words are spoken to the rhythm of our body’s union... #Wounded @JasindaWilder

The Dom with the Kink Monsters -Sorcha Black **GUEST REVIEW**

*****This is a GUEST REVIEW by Lisa *****

The Dom with the Kink Monsters (The Badass Brats) (Volume 5)

The Dom with the Kink Monsters, coming April 22nd, 2014.

The Kink Monsters need a drummer and Cobalt Harbor is fresh out – that is, until Ramsay moves into town with his girl, Saya. Tall, dommy and charismatic, Ramsay’s exactly what Winter and Mack have been looking for.

But the new couple complicates things. Winter and Mack’s loving, S&M dynamic gets sidetracked by their attraction to Ramsay and his sub. Proximity, BDSM and animal attraction throw the band into seething sexual chaos.

As though things weren’t complicated enough, sudden popularity and a new deal-breaker tangle the relationship into a mess that none of them know how to unravel.

Warning: Explicit sexual content, dubious consent, M/m, F/f, M/f/f/m, BDSM, knife play, needle play, anal play/intercourse.

Part of the Badass Brats Series, but can be read as a stand-alone.

This is LISA's Confession =)

5 Stars!

Warning: Explicit sexual content, dubious consent, M/m, F/f, M/f/f/m, BDSM, knife play, needle play, anal play/intercourse.

Did that get you attention? This book is amazing! You won’t be able to put it down!

Mack and Winter are looking for a drummer, not a couple to play with or get involved with. When they find Ramsey and his girl Saya nothing with ever be the same for the four of them.

From the first page, you know this is going to be a steamy, hot read-- but it's so much more than just amazing sex. The characters come to life within the pages and as a reader you are so attached to them.

"Where most people gossiped about the kink, they had no clue about the love."
This is part of the Badass Brats Series, and I recommend them all. However, this book .This book does great as a standalone.

Sorcha Black write books about the lives of marginalized women making space for themselves in their lived realities. Her focus is generally their relationships with others, as well as with their evolving definitions of self. Angst, humor and love are all central to my work.

In her real life, she's a fan of tattoos and foul language. Sorcha lives in Canada with her husband and their shoe full of children.
