My Confession:

This product is my go-to for aches and pains. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I work as a caregiver. This can be a physically and mentally demanding job. I have so many aches, that I never even knew of (not all job related, some from age, shhh). I love coming home kicking off my shoes and sliding my tootsies ( those are what us Moddlers {Mom of Toddlers} call feet) into this thing. The heat setting feels HEAVENLY. No really! Oh, and one cool feature is that it automatically shuts off at 15 or 20 minutes, not sure which honestly. The listing says 15 minutes the instruction pamplet says 20. It feels so good that I didn't really pay attention, OOPS. It does help to keep track somewhat of time spent playing, I mean therapeutically using it.  The remote control also controls the direction of the massager. You can choose clockwise or counter clockwise. I like to do one round of each direction. The tootsies are ready to run a marathon at this point, hypothetically speaking of course =).

Another great thing about this awesome item is that the top zips off. The bottom becomes a massager for your neck, back, legs, or any other body parts you feel a need to use it for. I have a bulging disc in my neck. I can not describe the pain and tension that I get. The daily migraines are almost unbearable. I can position this massager so that it is massaging both sides of my neck. It will usually loosen up all that tension and ease my headaches without the need for medication. Being a mommy that's a huge plus for me. I want fast effective pain relief without feeling groggy. Again, I usually do both directions on my neck. 

I have also used this massager on my upper back and shoulder blades area. You can position a shoulder blade to where the massager hits just the right spot. This is why I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this item. Did I mention my 4 yr old loves it too? No? Ok, I have caught her using it just as much as me. I mean, doesn't every 4 yr old need a foot massage before school? She says they do.

The bottom part zips off for easier spot cleaning. It runs off electricity. It has a long cord so you do not necessarily have to be close to a plugin. This is made from 100% polyester and due to the electrical component, I do NOT recommend anything OTHER than spot cleaning as per the instructions.  I would definitely HIGHLY recommend this item for anyone looking for an affordable massager for multi-body use. I just LOVE it and know you all would as well.

Foxtel's Wentworth ( My Confession)

Let's chat about "Wentworth"! Have you watched it yet?

What is Wentworth? It is an Austrailian television drama. Wentworth is set in modern-day Australia and focuses on Bea Smith when she first enters prison after being charged with the attempted murder of her husband. Bea is separated from her daughter and sent to Wentworth on remand, where she lives in "an uncertain limbo" until she is sentenced. Starting at the bottom of Wentworth's hierarchy, Bea is forced to learn how to survive in prison.

So WHY am I blogging this show? It seriously gave me a bingecoma . I watched all 5 seasons in a matter of days. I couldn't stop. I was literally eating, breathing, and dreaming ( that was SCARY) this show. It was like I was personally invested into these ladies and their journeys. I could always put this show on pause but WHY would I? It was like a good book, I couldn't stop with "one more chapter", I needed one more episode which would turn into 10-hour binge fest and before I knew it, Hubs fixed dinner and the kiddo was put to bed.

FIRST, this show is NOT anything like OITNB. Wentworth is raw and gritty. It depicts more real life prison than the party over at Litchfield. These lady prisoners are HARD CORE.

There are TONS are great characters but here are just a few of my FAVS

Bea Smith : She's great, in my eyes. I loved watching her struggle to get a hold on prison life. Watching her transform and take charge was what made this show GREAT.

Franky Doyle: I loved her from the first 5 minutes of the show. She is the on/off again "TOP DOG". She's feisty and fun. I totally girly crushed her. No lies. =) She is a hard ass with a sweet heart.

Sue "Boomer" Jenkins: This gal has no filter and I love her. She tells it like it is but she's also got an innocence to her that just pulls at your heart. She is Franky's right hand.

Maxine Conway: Maxy is a transgender person. I love that they tackled this modern day issue. First awareness is everything. It really touches my heart how they hit home with the issues Maxine may face in prison. If ever I would want a BFF in prison it would totally be Maxine. She's obviously got the strength to have your back but she has such a GOOD heart.

 

Onto those prisoners, we all LOVE to HATE.

Jacs Holt: She is a BAD ASS mob boss QUEEN. Seriously she has the sweet look of Martha Stewart but don't let that fool you. She is "Top Dog" and intends to do WHATEVER it takes to keep it. She has no emotion or remorse for what she has done.

Joan "The FREAK" Ferguson: The FREAK is well the most disturbed of them all. I literally love to HATE her. She has screwed over EVERYONE guards and prisoners. She is so mentally disturbed it's scary. That makes her probably the most loved hated person. Governor turned prisoner she has all that she needs to be "Top Dog" yet the mental stability to keep it.

Let's see what else do I love about Wentworth? Oh yes the GUARDS

Vera Bennett " Vinegar Tits": Sweet little Vera. I enjoyed watching her transform throughout the 5 seasons. Personally, I HATE how she has become. I'd love to see a small part of her older personality back. She has become a 'Ferguson wanna be".

Mr. Jackson: I love him. I do. He is one of the good guys. You see he genuinely cares about the ladies yet is trying to abide by rules all while dealing with a tragedy.

Linda Miles: She is the SNEAKY one. She the guard you can and will want to be friends with to get what you need from the outside. She doesn't give two shits about her job, just the pay day. Her antics make for an interesting prison story.

Mathew Fletcher: OHHHH MATTY ! I started off loving him, then he turns super sleazy, and by the end, totally loving him again. I have such a love hate for him. 

Jake Stewart: I hated him from the start and I hate him now. However, he makes such damn good story lines, and he is easy on the eyes =)

There are tons of other lady prisoners and guards worth mentioning but these are just a few of my favorite characters of the show. Love them, Hate them, regardless they make GREAT stories. This show was one of my favorites. When I finished the current season I immediately took to the internet and googled as much as I could. I NEED to know when Season 6 airs. ONLY, to find out that Season 5 just came out. I'm literally out of luck until 2018. Foxtel has confirmed a 6th season yet no date has been set for it to air. THANK GOSH because with the way season 5 ended I'd die if I didn't find out what was to happen next.

So what will I do until Season 6????????

I'm thinking a rewatch to see if there is anything I missed or maybe just to catch a glimpse of Franky Doyle ;) .

Junpro Mermaid Tail Blanket

What is a mermaid tail blanket? It's a blanket made (often crocheted) to look like a mermaid tail once it is put on.

This particular blanket from Junpro is a beautiful color of pink and purple mixed. It is crocheted with a ruffled top trim.

It has an opening in the back for easy access to get into the blanket. It keeps those tiny tootsies nice and warm.

The bottom of the blanket is exactly as described. It looks like a mermaid tail fin. 

Modeled by my own Baby ( ok toddler #mommydenial ) Jo. You can see it's perfect for a chair or laying down. She like the chair, so that she can watch her "Tangled" cartoon. 

As mentioned this blanket is hand crocheted and super soft. It is made of a high-quality fabric blend(80% polyester + 20% cotton). The material makes the blanket warm yet breathable. It has super easy care instructions included in the carry bag. You will want to wash this mermaid tail blanket separately before you first use it. I would take care not wash it with items containing a zipper so that it doesn't snag. You can hand wash or machine wash at a low temperature and tumble dried with low heat.

You can purchase this blanket in kids and adult sizes. I'm not gonna lie. Momma has a mermaid tail blanket too. It's perfect for days cuddled on the couch watching princess movies.
