GREY by EL James

Grey (Fifty Shades, #4)

Christian Grey exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty—until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him—past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

This book is intended for mature audiences.

“Enlighten me, then.”
― E.L. JamesGrey

I really enjoyed this read ! I was surprised to like it as much as I did. I thought it would be a little on the boring side since I had read the others already but to me it was completely different. I learned so much about Christian through reading his POV. It told me WHY he was all possessive and well CRAZY for Ana. It really gives the reader a FULL insight into the personality of Mr. Grey !

“I’ve never felt this desire, this…hunger before. It’s a new feeling, new and shiny. I want so much from her: her trust, her obedience, her submission. I want her to be mine, but right now…I’m hers.”
― E.L. JamesGrey

Most people look at Christian as this very DOMINATE male when in fact he is just a scared kid who doesn't know how to control these feelings. He tries so hard to fight them but in the end he just can't. He knows that this woman has got to him. He realizes that she has all the control.  EL James does such a great job with showing us how Christian deals with all these emotions he is feeling about Anastasia. I enjoyed seeing HIS side and I'm excited for the next books. Definitely a 4 star book for me

I’m a former TV executive, wife and mother-of-two based in the leafy suburbs of West London. Since January 2012 my life has taken an extraordinary turn with the runaway success of the Fifty Shades Trilogy. From an early age I had always dreamt of writing stories that readers would fall in love with – and my dreams have come true, thanks to you guys. Now that life seems to have settled down a little, I want to crack on and write my next novel – another adult, provocative romance. I do hope you will enjoy that too.

PROS & CONS by Sydney Logan

Pros & Cons

Con artists Jenna York and Ethan Summers always seem to cross paths during their travels around the world. With their partners in tow, the cunning criminals wreak havoc across the globe, stealing from the rich and giving to the richer. While Jenna tries to convince herself that she sees him as nothing more than a professional rival, Ethan finds it a little harder to fight his attraction to the beautiful thief.

When tragedy strikes, Jenna and Ethan join forces, but are the stakes too high? Can they escape this last job with their lives—and their hearts—intact?

WOW ! seriously I'm officially calling this Sydney Logan's BEST book yet....I LOVE this book. It has everything. I love the amount of romance mixed with anticipation and drama and lets not forget the suspense...OMGOSH !!! I'm in love with her leading man Ethan Summers. I want my own little pocket Ethan. He is everything we nerdy girls want in a book boyfriend *sigh*. Also I'm not ashamed to admit it... I "may" have a "small" girly crush on Jenna York.. (she is so awesome, I tried to fight it, I did she's just well you will see ). I so enjoyed getting to read all the flirtatious banter between Ethan and Jenna. It was so witty and I found myself smiling while reading the book. It has a very "ahhh so sweet" quality. Sydney amazes me more and more with each book I read of hers. She pulls me in immediately. by chapter 3 I was already hooked and willing to stay up WAY past my bedtime reading. Halfway through the book I gave in and cried myself to sleep. I woke up and was antsy to get back to my book but real life calls first *sigh* . So what's a nerd girl to do? She tells the hubs to crock pot supper, puts on some Mickey Mouse for the toddler and FINALLY I get to dive back into Jenna and Ethan's world. I finished this book in 2 sittings. I couldn't put it down. I wanted MORE and MORE. I needed to know what was gonna happen next. This book EXCEEDED all expectations I had. It's not just another romance. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat... Definitely a must read book...

I"m also loving that she named a character after me. I debated on if i should mention this but AN AUTHOR NAMED A CHARACTER AFTER ME !!!!!!! that's HUGE right? I loved it. It made this nerd girls day. I'm so happy with my character =) THANKS SYDNEY FOR THE BOOK AND THE CHARACTER

Fred and the Disappearing Monsters: Children's Ebook: Friends Can Scare Monsters Away! by Lynda Raymond

Fred and the Disappearing Monsters: Children's Ebook: Friends Can Scare Monsters Away!

Fred sneaked out of the house for an adventure. Little did he know that three Murky Monsters awaited him! Unaware of the danger, Fred plods along, making new friends as he goes. He meets Mr. Cat, Shirley Sheep, and Russell Rabbit, who has a magic nose! Find out how they vanquish the Murky Monsters together!

This book was such a cute little read. I didn't expect much as well it's a kids book BUT as I watched Joleah smile,  her little eyes light up, and she would point at the "monsters". It was the best feeling. She would giggle and laugh as I made animal sounds and changed my voice. She has never set through and entire story yet. She's only 15 months. Ya know there's better things than books, aka MICKEY MOUSE. She sat through this entire story. SCORE ! This was a mommy first and I was so proud. As I said those familiar words, THE END, she was fast asleep. It was the best feeling ever. Knowing that she liked this book so much is why I totally give it 5 stars. HIGHLY recommend.
